Alexander McGilchrist as
Greg
First starring as a non-speaking star in the Biblical Magi, Alex McGilchrist has always been destined for the spotlight, finding his calling as ‘Greg’ in Spurboard. The character of Greg, devilishly handsome and smart beyond his years, matched Alex’s modest personality and he was seen born to play this role. While autographs are permitted, they aren’t always guaranteed, given Alex’s busy lifestyle of indulging in leather-covered novels and nurturing a growing passion for twin-turbo engines.
Lana Waddingham

Amy
Lana has been involved in a few stage performances such as dance, Hornsby Gang show and Pennant Hill High Schools 'Legally Blonde'. She has always been fascinated in stage work and being able to work together as a group to put on a production. Lana is playing the character Amy and is apart of front of house and assisting with promotion. Lana hopes that you all enjoy the show!
Cash Daley

Cash Daley has been obsessed with becoming an actor for his entire life. This is his first role as a lead, and he has never been more excited to bring a character to life. During this project, cash also worked as a part of the light and sound team, designing the lighting, sound effects, and rodeo sequences in collaboration with the rest of the team. Putting Spurboard to life has been an amazing experience, hope you all enjoy the show!
Viana Eghtesadi Ghasemi

Karen
Viana Eghtesadighasemi’s interest in performing arts first sparked when first introduced to it as an elective in year 8, since then has held a deep dedication to the theatre. In the current production, she plays Karen as well as being head dramaturg. She can’t wait to be a part Spurboard’s final product!
Luca Murphy-Gibb

Luca has been passionate about theatre since their first performance at Riverside Theatre, beginning their journey in drama during Year 8 and has since been in two productions at Pennant Hills High School, Legally Blonde and Little Women. Currently, Luca is working with their exceptional classmates as the leading set designer for this production and is incredibly excited for the opportunity to work on and perform Nick Enright’s play, Spurboard.
Ruby Crothers

Brenda/Gloria
Ruby has been in Pennant Hills High school musicals since 2018, in Oliver!, Matilda, Shrek, Little Women, and Legally Blonde. Ruby is very excited to make her directorial debut as assistant director and has had so much fun in this role. She hopes the audience enjoys Spurboard just as much as she has enjoyed being a part of it!
Zachary Godsmark

Don/Billy
Zach has spent the majority of his life on stage and plans to spend the rest of his life there too. Zach has been doing musical theatre for 8 years across 11 musicals with Pennant Hills High School and companies such as Sydney Youth Musical Theatre (Big Fish, The Little Mermaid, School of Rock, Shrek) and Hornsby Musical Society (Jekyll and Hyde, Urinetown). Zach is very excited to be on the production side of things and hopes you all enjoy the show!
Hayley Marriott

Hayley has had a passion for drama all the way from her early days as a little seven year old in Helen O’Grady’s drama academy. This is her first time directing a play but she cannot wait to see what the production she’s helped create with all her fellow wonderful classmates. What a play Spurboard by Nick Enright is to be directing, she can’t wait to play Tex and have heaps of fun in her first production!
Jasmine Sluis

Jasmine plays the characters of Lance, Karen’s Father, and Sam, the city girl. She is head of publicity as well as dramaturg. She informed the visual and informational aspects of all promotional material, as well as contributing to the creative process behind decisions. She’s very excited to be a part of this production!
Kaylee Sluis

Valda
Spurboard is Kaylee’s fifth production with Pennant Hills High School, recent productions include Legally Blonde where she paid Chutney. In this production she is playing the motherly role of Valda and is head of costume design. She hopes you enjoy this wonderful show.
Heather Peterson

Heather has always loved drama and has enjoyed this class since day one. Spurboard is her first production, and she's been working on the lighting and sound design, as well as playing Becks and Trent. It's been a blast so far, and she hopes you all have fun watching the show!
Chloe Chisholm

From a young age Chloe has been doing impressions of her favourite characters from TV shows and movies which has grown her interest in acting.
But she had never been interested in joining a drama group until she chose it for one of her elective subjects and now it is one of her favourite subjects, she has learned a lot about acting on stage and is so excited to bring her character to life on stage for all to see.
Teagan Paviour-Smith

Teagan has been involved in Drama productions for over 10 years taking on a number of lead roles and positions back of house. Teagan is one of 4 Students nationally to receive a Commitment to Drama award from the Director of Helen O’Grady Drama Academy for her Commitment to the art.
Teagan is the Stage Manager for Spurboard and is excited to be part of an incredible cast and crew, bringing their version of the classic play to life, she hopes you enjoy the show.
Iisa Vilander

Gabby
Iisa has been involved with a variety of drama productions from school plays to bigger production musicals with Shed Helsinki and plays with the theatre of Hyökyvuori since a young age. Spurboard is her first and last production in PHHS and in Australia. Iisa can be noticed as the character Gabby, but she has also worked with the costumes and co-operating with the other production teams.
She is excited to see how all the hard work the whole team has put on to the production comes out.
